Story Board for Short Film
Storyboarding is an essential part of filmmaking. It's basically a plan that lays out exactly how the movie is going to be filmed. From shots to certain lighting, a storyboard will make it simple when it comes to actually getting to business. My partner and I decided the best way to efficiently create the storyboard would be to split the work into two. I took the first half of the film, and she took the second. Before creating the storyboards, however, we had a meeting to discuss techniques that we wanted to implement. Once we were on the same page about how we were going to construct the film, we both got to work. While creating, we were always checking in to make sure we were both on track to create the most optimal storyboard we could. We wanted to focus on using certain shots and angles to create the eerie, and confusing vibe in our film. At the beginning of the film, many close-ups of the phone are used to highlight the suspense and confusion about the text messages. Also, giving many angles of different perspectives allows suspense to build. It's essential to add these different elements so the film remains interesting. Otherwise, it can be boring and monotonous. We want the audience to completely encapsulated the entire film. We hope this film can be a wonderful experience. I can't wait to move onto the next step.
